All Saints' Church, Jaipur: Women Fellowship for Christian Services (W.F.C.S)
The Women’s Ministries at All Saints’ Church, Jaipur provides women with opportunities to study God’s word, serve others, and give and receive biblically sound support. This ministry focuses on women connecting with each other and encouraging their journey with Christ.
History and Structure
Initially introduced as the “Mother’s Union,” this fellowship began with women members meeting to discuss various church-related issues. Over time, it was renamed Women’s Fellowship for Christian Services (W.F.C.S).
Aims and Objectives
Unite Women: To bring together women of all age groups within The Church of North India To witness Christ in their homes, neighborhoods, places of study, and work.
Study of Scripture: To emphasize the importance of studying the scripture, and stewardship of time, talent, and possessions.
Christian Standards: To uphold Christian standards of marriage and responsible parenthood, enabling members to create homes centered on Christ-like living.
Pastoral Care and Evangelism: To participate in the church’s work of pastoral care and evangelism, including ministries of healing, education, and social work within the Diocese.
Friendship Bonds: To maintain and create bonds of friendship with women in India and other countries.
Empowerment Projects: To build confidence and self-dependence among rural and needy women members through various projects.
Activities and Initiatives
Area-wise Cottage Prayers Meetings: W.F.C.S organizes local cottage prayer meetings, inviting Christian women to join in fellowship for mutual support and betterment.
Championing Worthy Causes: The Women’s Fellowship advocates and supports any deserving cause related to the church. They raise funds and provide financial support when necessary.
Visiting the Sick and Aged: Members regularly visit homes of the sick and aged in the congregation, offering prayers and support. They also visit hospitals to pray for the patients.
Church Programs and Activities: The fellowship takes responsibility for various church programs, such as arranging altar accessories and organizing donation.
